Positive Outlets

I have never considered myself much of a composer. In fact, in high school jazz band I would sometimes (ok always) sit terrified that the director would point to me during a 12-bar improv section. The risk of being bad at something never sat well with me.

On my journey of healing my root chakra, I’m now much more ready to try some things, struggle with them and hopefully get better. Thankful for the time and opportunity to do so.

here are a lot of unknowns out there right now. My head can quickly run away with my worries and fears. I wrote this song last week to try to get back to the present and turn my angst into something beautiful. Here’s to throwing some stuff at the wall and seeing what sticks!
